I love the feeling of freedom and accomplishment that accompanies it, especially after conquering new sites and exploring locations off the beaten track. In the city, I like to go for gentle jogs; I am interested in science, but due to my demanding studies, I tend to distance myself from my own field in my free time and like to read popular science books about other science topics instead. I particularly enjoy reading about astrophysics and the intersection of physics and philosophy. Furthermore, I am very interested in history and can literally spend hours on Wikipedia after watching any historic film or documentary. To switch off my mind, I like to try out new recipes or go for a late-night swim.
